EMREILLON 5 POCKET CARPENTER JACKET — coal
NOTES
“The form remembers the hand.”
The garment carries the marks of its making — to wash it is to continue the process.
FORMATION
Cut and sewn in Los Angeles from firm USA-milled canvas. The pattern took seven rounds to resolve balance, structure, and proportion. The canvas is stone washed to open the weave, then hand distressed by eye, so the marks and fading fall differently on every jacket. Hardware and the leather patch are finished individually. No two are the same.
MATERIAL SELECTION
11.5oz USA-milled canvas
Milled to our spec, then washed down for a softened hand. Structured without stiffness - wearable from day one, built to last.
Natural dye
Natural-dyed so the surface stays alive. Tone shifts with light, wear, and washing, forming quiet depth instead of a fixed color.
7oz tencel lining
A clean interior - smooth, cool, and breathable against the skin.
